Start with a Certificate and build your credentials
Students seeking faster workforce entry can begin with the Biotechnology Certificate, which develops practical laboratory skills in Biotechnology Techniques, Microbiology, Bioinformatics and Biomanufacturing. Like all STEM certificates at RACC, certificate coursework applies directly toward the Biotechnology A.A.S., allowing students to continue their education without losing credits.
Continue Your Education
The program provides an excellent foundation for students planning to transfer into bachelor's programs in biotechnology, biology, biomedical science, or other life science disciplines.
Students interested in advanced manufacturing may also explore RACC's Nanoscience Technology programs, developed in partnership with Penn State's internationally recognized Nanofabrication Manufacturing Technology Program.
