My Story, My College, My Community

The MISSION of the Student Leadership Program is to provide students with educational opportunities to explore, identify, develop, and enhance their leadership potential. Students work to attain the skills needed to fulfill their responsibilities as citizens of the college community. Additionally, students are encouraged to seek positions within the community at large where their leadership skills can continue to be developed and used to advance the mission and goals of any organization, thus contributing to the process of life-long learning.

All students are encouraged to apply to the Student Leadership Program. This program is an excellent opportunity to continue to develop your leadership skills and network with the other leaders on campus.

Are You Interested In Developing Your Leadership Skills?

RACC offers an excellent opportunity available to students who are interested in learning how to become leaders. The Student Professional Development and Leadership Program is a learning curriculum that offers educational opportunities to explore, identify, develop and enhance your leadership potential.

The Program Has Four Main Events:

  • Spring Retreat Weekend
  • Summer Institute
  • Fall Retreat Weekend
  • Winter Institute - Friday, Feb. 8th, 15th, and 22nd from 8:30AM - 3:30PM in the Ravens Lounge

There Are Four Main Components that the Program Seeks to Instill upon Student Leaders:

  • Civic Engagement
  • Team Building
  • Personal and Professional Development
  • Diversity and Inclusion

While we encourage you to attend the entire program to gain the most from this experience, you may choose individual components, as appropriate for your schedule and interests as long as there are openings available.
