Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

1. Meet with Early Childhood Education coordinator/instructor (s) weekly to be aware of course content and coverage.
2. Provide support for coursework, field experience, and portfolio development in group sessions.
3. Provide support for coursework, field experience, and portfolio development individually.
4. Submit a weekly Report to the Coordinator of Early Childhood Education (ECE), identifying students met with and supports provided.
5. Demonstrate and train students on the use of classroom equipment, laminator, die cut machine etc.
6. Track usage of equipment, and additional resources needed for field experience.
7. Maintain the classroom and communicate to ECE coordinator when supplies are needed.
8. Maintain organization of the ECE classroom and student resources.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities; however, they will coordinate the work flow of work-study students and provide a mentorship role.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Education

• The student must be an Early Childhood student who has earned a minimum of 9 credits in Early Childhood Education classes at a grade of B or higher and meet the grade point requirements for Work-Study.
