The Business Division at Reading Area Community College (RACC) seeks adjunct instructors to teach Economics courses. 

These courses support degree, transfer, and workforce pathways by developing students’ understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics, market systems, public policy, and applied economic decision-making.
Instruction emphasizes real-world economic analysis, data interpretation, and critical thinking aligned with transfer institutions and entry-level careers in business, finance, government, and public service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Economics or related field (minimum 18 graduate credits in Economics).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics principles.
  • Ability to integrate economic models, data analysis, and real-world examples into instruction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Community college teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching Microeconomics and/or Macroeconomics at the collegiate level.
  • Professional experience in economic analysis, public policy, finance, or business.
  • Experience with online or hybrid course delivery.
  • Ability to incorporate current economic trends and global market discussions into coursework.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and cultural engagement in teaching.
