| Lock 49 - This is an old stone lock used to convey boats around the little Reading Dam. There is a very little land to be considered at this point as the river was used for the boats from lock 48 to lock 50. It is our opinion that the value of the land which would be included with lock 49 would be of less value than the liability of owning the lock. Therefore, we can only place a valuation on this lock, with land, as having a market value of $1.00. | ||||||
