| Lock 43 - This lock is located at what was formerly known as Leiz's Dam. Although the dam is still standing, most of the timbers have decayed. The old lock house was torn down. The river was used at this point for the boats and this lock was used to convey the boats around the dam. The land extends from River Road to the river.
Remarks - It is our opinion that the locks and land at this point would have a fair market value of $200.00. |
