| Locks 34-35 - These locks, located in Mohrsville, have been mostly filled in and the canal bed extending to Lock 22 in Shoemakersville is dry and although it has a vegetation growth, the average depth would not be more than four feet. This canal bed abuts along privately owned property and it is quite possible that a goodly portion of it could be sold off to abutting property owners. There are no buildings in this portion.
Remarks - It is our opinion that this entire area, including the locks and canal bed extending to Lock 33, would have a total market value of $1,250.00. |
