RACC Scholarships

The scholarships listed here are administered through the Foundation for RACC. They are either funded by the Foundation or an outside company who is working with the College to identify qualified candidates.

All Foundation for Reading Area Community College Scholarships are awarded according to financial aid and donor criteria. Foundation Scholarships are credited to the students’ financial aid account and are disbursed according to financial aid timelines and policies. Non-need based scholarships are awarded through the Foundation by faculty/staff recommendations. However, most Foundation Scholarships are need-based. When applying for a scholarship, students should check the eligibility criteria listed on the application to make sure they qualify. For a complete listing of RACC Scholarships and criteria, contact the Foundation for Reading Area Community College. Award amounts are determined on an annual basis by donor contributions, the Foundation Board of Directors and the financial need of the student.

Students with financial need for tuition, fees or books should fill out the “Foundation for Reading Area Community College Scholarship Application” listed below. After submitting this application, you will be matched with the Foundation Scholarship which best fits your characteristics for scholarship consideration. When there is more than one eligible applicant for the same scholarship, students with the highest academic performance, most financial need and those enrolled for the most number of credits are considered first. A current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required for all Foundation Scholarships. Scholarships are awarded annually; eligibility is determined on an annual basis.
