Career Counseling
Individual career counseling appointments are available for: interest/personality assessment, major/career selection, occupational research, résumé writing/critique, cover letter writing/critique, interview skills training, job fair preparation, business etiquette review, strategic job search planning, etc.

The Career Center offers information about current job fairs, including employer listings and job fair preparation.

DISCOVER Computer Program
DISCOVER -
( PDF 31KB) is a multimedia approach to career planning. Students complete an online career inventory, receive a list of career suggestions, research career and labor market information, and locate colleges that offer the education and training they need to pursue their career goals. Appointments are required to use Discover. Email or call 610-607-6246 to make an appointment.
Job Openings
Current part-time, full-time, and internship opportunities are posted in the Career Center, electronically on College Central Network, on the Career Center bulletin board outside room B216, and throughout campus.

Resume Critique and Interviewing Skills Services
Students and alumni are encouraged to make individual appointments to have their resumes critiqued and sharpen their interviewing skills. Students can email us with questions they have about their resumes or the interview process.
On-Campus Recruiting
Visiting employers set up information tables in the Berks Hall lobby. Check the Career Center bulletin board for listings of upcoming recruiter visits.
Career Library
The Career Center library is a resource area where students can gather career
information. Pamphlets, reference guides, books, the DISCOVER Program, and the
Internet are available to assist students with career exploration and job
searching.
Cooperative Education
This program is a partnership between the college and an employer that provides RACC students with the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have gained in the classroom to the work place. Contact Career Services for more information.
Workshops
Group workshops are offered throughout the year and include topics such as résumé writing, job fair preparation, and major selection.
Career Development Courses
Career Decision Making, Resume Writing and Interviewing, and Professionalism on the Job are courses offered throughout the year.
