Step-by-step Enrollment for First Time Students

If you are preparing to take college classes for the first time, follow these steps to ensure a smooth start to your first semester!

  1. Complete the admissions application. There is no fee to apply to the college.

    3. Request Additional Information
  2. Submit your final transcripts (high school, GED, home school evaluations, and/or any college transcripts).
  3. Apply for financial aid.
  4. Schedule an appointment to take the placement test. Contact Enrollment Services at 610-607-6224.
  5. Attend a group registration session on the day of your placement test to enroll for your first semester courses.
  6. Pay tuition and fees by the tuition due dates.
  7. Obtain your student photo ID and parking tag from the campus security office in the lobby of Penn Hall (Campus Map).
  8. Purchase books at the Campus Bookstore.
  9. Plan to attend new student orientation.
