Practical Nursing is the practice of nursing under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), a licensed physician, or a licensed dentist wherever nursing takes place.
Practical Nursing is a 12-month, full-time day program that includes a caring faculty to assist with your educational needs. The College's program has reasonable tuition for education (48 credits) and offers clinical experiences and observations in local hospitals and nursing homes.
As a student in the Practical Nurse Program, you would have access to a variety of services available on the College's campus.
Upon graduation from the program, you will be:
- Eligible for licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Our graduates have a high pass rate.
- Eligible to be hired at starting salaries ranging from $17 to $25 per hour.
- An excellent candidate for entry level positions in the health care field with opportunities for advancement.
- A candidate for articulation into the Associate Degree Registered Nurse Program and other institutions of higher learning.
