Hello all! My name is Deannaliz Batista, and I am originally from Manhattan, New York. I am a RACC student since 2016, I am enrolled in the Engineering program. I was inspired to pursue an engineering career after I joined the STEM summer camp while I was a high school student. I plan to take general courses here at RACC and transfer my credits to a four-year college. I became a Raven’s Ambassador in 2017 because I wanted to help my peers to be more familiar with the buildings and resources that RACC has to offer. I also want to improve my communication and interpersonal skills. Being accepted into the Ambassador's family has been one of the things I have enjoyed the most; the atmosphere is welcoming and helpful. I love spending time with my friends and reading a good book.
Hello, my name is Kyle Karpew and I am a Business Administration transfer. After I finish my Associates degree at RACC, I plan on attending Temple University to complete my bachelors in Marketing and minor in Communications. Being a Raven Ambassador has helped me develop leadership skills, communication skills, as well as develop a more appreciative understanding of what the college has to offer. Being a first-generation college student is overwhelming and a challenge, and I would recommend the Ambassadors program if you want to work on professionalism as well as help your overall academic goals.

Hi! My name is Taylor Moyer. I started out at RACC as an early admissions student and took a couple classes here during high school. I became a Raven Ambassador in 2018 and I am a Psychology major. After graduating RACC with an Associate's degree, I plan to transfer to a 4-year school to get my Bachelor's degree, and continue on with my education to get a Master's degree. I became a Raven Ambassador because I feel as though my purpose in life is to help others, and through this position I can help others with their experience at RACC. An added bonus to being an ambassador is that I get to improve my communication skills and leadership skills.

Hello, my Name is Rhoda Wilkerson. I am currently enrolled in the Addiction Studies Program here at Reading Area Community College. I will be graduating in the spring of 2019, and plan to further my education in the Addictions field. I would also like to study in the areas of Social Work and Psychology. I also plan on becoming a Certified Recovery Specialist while working on my Bachelor’s degree. Studying in multiple areas will allow me to help others and to not be stagnated in one area since my passion is helping all people. I became an Ambassador to strengthen my communication skills and incorporate the love and compassion that I have with helping others while I’m completing my education. I have also worked in the Admissions department for over a year. All the knowledge that I acquired while in that position, has prepared me for this role of Ambassador. I enjoy cooking, reading and shopping in my spare time.
