This position would be primarily afternoon/early evening hours totaling 15. Ideally a few hours on Saturday with the remaining hours being completed between 9am and 8pm Monday – Thursday.
This position would be partially virtual/remote and would require the student to have a reliable computer and internet connection.
Answering LiveChat inquiries about varied campus departments and services.
Provide efficient and friendly service through chat software.
Greet guests within one minute of entering the chat.
Log in and out at specifically scheduled times.
Create tickets for follow up with customers as needed when an answer isn’t readily available.
Assist in managing targeted marketing on social media including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter.
Record/Photograph and edit media for sharing on social media platforms.
Professional communication and behavior at all times.
Able to manage multiple chats at one time.
Maintain sensitivity, understanding, and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of varying social, economic, cultural, ideological, and ethnic backgrounds.
Attention to detail, especially avoiding typographical errors.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Candidates must have excellent written and customer service communication skills.
Bi-lingual is a plus
Efficient and accurate typing skills. 50-60 words per minute preferred.
General understanding of the internet and navigating websites
Familiarity with social media and social trends.
