Interest Form - GED/ESL
The Community Education-Literacy Programs Department has an array of diverse non-credit programs including (ABE- Adult Basic Education; HEP- High School Equivalency Program- preparation for the GED Test; ESL- English as a Second Language).
We are now taking names and addresses of students interested in receiving information for our next registration. At the registration, students take placement tests to help determine the correct level at which to start their ABE/HEP or ESL studies. Students meet with staff members individually to select the appropriate class placement. The registration and placement test session usually lasts about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Most of our part-time ABE/HEP/ESL classes are held at RACC on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from either 9-11:30 am or 6-8:30 pm. Full-time classes are scheduled Monday through Friday mornings from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:00-3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. These classes are free and books are available for classroom use.
The current fee for the GED Test is $120.
Spanish GED preparation classes are also available for a fee.
