Working Hours:
Consists of a 15-hour work week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 7:30 PM. Actual working hours are to be agreed upon at the onset of employment. This position will require working one or two evenings per week and the occasional weekend.
Summary:
Performs secretarial/receptionist/administrative duties in the Admissions Welcome Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support and coverage at Welcome Center front desk.
- Serve as back-up support to Welcome Center administrative staff and the Admissions Receptionist.
- Serve as backup Accuplacer placement testing proctor as needed.
- Assist the Admissions team with Open Enrollment days as needed. May be on an occasional Saturday.
- Input enrollment data and upload student applications into the Student Information System as needed.
- Input data into the CRM system.
- Conduct him/herself in a professional manner and exhibit a positive image for RACC at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
Required
High school diploma. Minimum 2 years student/customer service experience. Windows, MS Word, Email, and internet skills required. Excellent interpersonal skills a must. Accurate data entry skills required. Ability to work independently required.
Preferred
Associates Degree preferred but not required. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not required.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Internet skills. Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague or other administrative software a plus.
Communication Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
