Working Hours:
The Zoom lab shift available for this position is Mondays and Thursdays from 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This position consists of a maximum of 15 hours per week. These hours are to be agreed upon at the onset of employment.
Summary:
The Zoom Room Monitor will staff the student Zoom Computer Lab by ensuring RACC policies are abided by related to student use of the area and equipment and provide students basic technical support in the use of the computers and remote learning software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Staffs the student remote Zoom Computer Lab when scheduled to do so.
- Enforces the College’s guidelines and policies related to student use of this area and equipment.
- Provides basic technical support to students using computers and remote learning software.
- Cleans student workstations after each use.

Education and/or Experience:
HS diploma or GED. Associate Degree preferred. Windows, Microsoft Word, and Internet skills required. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Ability to work independently required. Must be able to work on-site.
Computer Skills:
Skill in the use of computers in a PC Windows-based operating environment; skill in using word processing and email programs; skill in using Internet resources is required.
Communication Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedure manuals and technical procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
