Borrowing Procedures
Students can borrow most materials from The Yocum Library with a library card from a Berks County Advanced Library Information Network (ALIN) library. The ALIN libraries include most of the Berks County public libraries
If you don't have a library card, ask for an application at the Circulation Desk.

Holds
If a book or movie is checked out or from another ALIN library, you can place a HOLD on that item, and you will be notified when it is available. You can also place a HOLD on the computer catalog within the library or through your library account.

Renewals
Most items can be renewed once, unless a HOLD has been placed on them. You cannot renew Bestsellers or Reserve items. You can renew in person, by telephone (610-607-6237 or 800-626-1665 X 6237) or online using your library account.

Interlibrary Loans
If a particular item is vital to your research, but we do not own it, you may request that we try to obtain it for you from another library. Consult the Interlibrary Loan Guidelines.

Computer Usage
To use the computers in the library, a student must show his/her current RACC ID and check out a computer access card at the Circulation Desk. The computer access card must be posted on the computer. Students must also adhere to the RACC Computer Hardware & Software Usage Guidelines

The Testing Center is located in The Yocum Library. Consult the Testing Center web page for the Testing Center’s schedule, hours of operation, rules, and procedures. Report to the Circulation Desk on the 2nd floor to register for a test. A picture ID is always required.
