The programs in the Division of Health Professions vary on whether they must be pursued on a full-time basis or are able to be a combination of full-time and part-time attendance. The part-time option reduces the number of credits the student takes each term, but will increase the length of time it takes to complete a program.
The Associate Degree Nursing program can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis. The Practical Nurse program is a 12-month curriculum that requires full-time attendance. The Respiratory Care program can be pursued on a part-time basis for the first year. However, the second year requires a full-time commitment and all courses must be taken as listed in the course catalog.
The Medical Laboratory Technician program also allows students to complete the general education requirements on a part-time basis. However, students must be full-time for the clinical component of the program.
