Participants in the Upward Bound Program must meet the following criteria:
- low income
- grade point average of 1.5 or above (9th and 10th grade)
- first generation to go to college (neither parent has a 4 year degree)
- a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (must have a green card)
- age 13-19
- in grades 9, 10 or 11
- attending or planning to attend Reading High School

- SAT and PSAT Review and Preparation
