College Success Strategies
The College Success Strategies course (ORI 100) is designed to be a guide to higher education. It affords students the opportunity to evaluate their goals and commitment to higher education early in their undergraduate experience. Emphasis is placed on RACC's system as well as the student's academic and personal development in the college environment.

Academic Planning Chart
A chart used to plan and track the courses needed for a degree or certificate.
Academic Year
RACC's school year is divided into three parts called terms. The academic year consists of three terms. Each term is ten weeks in length. The terms are Fall, Winter and Spring. The college also offers two fourteen-week Saturday semesters and two Summer sessions.
Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.)
A program designed to academically prepare students for immediate employment after graduation. Although the entire degree program is not intended for transfer, individual courses may be applied to a baccalaureate degree.
