ELC Tuition/Enrollment Policy

Registration fee of $45 per Academic year (fall-spring semester), and $20 per Summer must be paid prior to registration. Registration fees for our program are to be paid upon enrollment and then yearly in August, regardless of original starting date. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Priority System:

1. RACC Students (based on child’s schedule)

2. RACC Staff / Faculty

Waiting lists will be kept on file for one semester. Parents will have to reapply to the waiting list each semester.

Parents will have the opportunity to reschedule their child’s hours on a semester by semester basis following the College’s currently enrolled students registration period.

Semester break childcare services are available at an additional fee. Parents will have the opportunity to pre-register for childcare services for semester breaks. Children not pre-registered for these services will not be allowed to attend. Students who stop attending RACC for any reason, other than graduation, are not eligible for future childcare when the term ends.

Upon graduation, students are eligible to continue child care for one (1) term immediately following graduation.

Childcare tuition is charged on a semester basis.

Tuition adjustments will not be given to deduct hours during the semester.

Students enrolled in courses with unique schedules must inform the ELC of the circumstances at the time of registration.

Tuition is due regardless of weather, holidays, absences, in-service days, etc.

A half-day consists of 4.5 or less consecutive hours.

The following options are available:

A full day consists of 5 - 8 consecutive hours.

The following options are available:

Extended day: children scheduled for 8 – 10 consecutive hours per day will be assessed an hourly rate for each hour or part thereof per day.

A child cannot be enrolled for more than 10 consecutive hours per day.

Children whose schedule overlaps the day and evening program will be assessed two rates, one for the day program and one for the evening program. Total consecutive hours cannot exceed 10 hours per day.

Vacation credit – 2 weeks will be given for vacation reported in advance. Vacation must be used in full week intervals.
Childcare tuition payments:

All outstanding debts must be satisfied by the end of each semester in order to continue care for the next semester.

Payments are made at the Cashier’s office.

RACC accepts cash, check, credit card, and money orders.

The ELC accommodates all funding sources (CCIS, United Way, Scholarships, etc.) The parent must provide the ELC with written verification from the agency funding childcare.

THE PARENT IS ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR DEBT TO THE ELC.
