- Coordinates recommended services and accommodations for students
- Meets with students throughout each term to provide academic support

Tomma Lee Furst
Assistant Director for Academic Support
- Connects students with tutor services on campus
- Provides assistance with textbook reading and study strategies
- Meets with students, parents, and school personnel to answer postsecondary access questions for students with disabilities
Stephanie Giddens
Academic Resource Specialist
- Coordinates emergency procedures for students with seizure disorders
- Reviews emergency procedures with students who require evacuation assistance
- Arranges preferential classroom seating
Kym Kleinsmith
Tech/Educational Support Specialist
- Educates students about types of Adaptive Technology and their benefits
- Trains students to use Adaptive Technology to enhance academic success
- Orders alternate-format textbooks on disk
- Lends equipment/Adaptive Technology to students
Linda Illig
Academic Support Assistant
- Provides reading and scribing accommodations for students
- Provides accommodations for extended time testing to students
