Services for Students with Disabilities
In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, Reading Area Community College welcomes all qualified students with disabilities. The college is committed to providing equal access in the educational environment for students with disabilities. The Center for Academic Success coordinates appropriate accommodations for enrolled students. The mission and goals of the disability staff are:
- To educate individuals about services provided by the disability services staff
- To educate individuals about self-advocacy and postsecondary access
- To educate individuals about academic accommodations
