Academic Advising and Registration

Advising Center
- The Advising Center primarily serves new students, undecided students, students who are on academic probation, and students with general advising needs (such as major changes, complete withdrawals, and transcript reviews for course registration).
- All students new to RACC meet with an advisor in the Advising Center to plan their first term at RACC.
- Before meeting with an advisor, students must take placement tests. (Students who have taken English Composition and/or Algebra I or higher at another accredited college can have the corresponding parts of the placement test waived)
- Continuing RACC students who have declared a major are assigned a faculty advisor who typically has experience in students’ programs of study. We recommend that continuing students work with their assigned faculty advisor.
- Hours of operation are 8:30 am to 8:00 pm M-Th, and 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on Friday.
- Students are seen by appointment on Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri. We operate on a walk-in basis every Wednesday.
- Please call us at (610) 607-6224
