Front Street Journal

The Front Street Journal is the student newspaper of Reading Area Community College. Its mission is to provide a forum for the free exchange of ideas and information among all members of the college community.

RACC students who have a GPA of 2.0 or above are eligible to be on FSJ's staff after attending three consecutive meetings. Please fill out this form to join FSJ.

You may also submit articles as a guest writer if you are not on the staff.  The editorial board of the Front Street Journal invites RACC students and faculty to submit articles and letters to the editor. Please review our submission guidelines. Possible topics for articles include: News Articles, Sports Columns, Opinion Pieces, Poetry and Art, Event Reviews, Human Interest Spotlights. Activity Descriptions and Photography. We welcome writers of varying interests and experience!

FSJ Meetings

Meetings are held in Yocum Library's River Room on Saturdays at 11 a.m. unless stated otherwise.  All students are invited to attend.  Bring your originality, commitment, and ideas! Below is the meeting schedule for the upcoming academic year:

Spring Semester: Jan. 18, Feb. 15, Mar. 15, Apr. 19, May 17
