Join Us!

All RACC credit students, staff, and faculty are welcome at SGA meetings. If you want to become a Senator (voting member of SGA) the procedure is simple. The academic requirement is a minimum grade point average of 2.0 and completion of one term. It is now mandatory to attend three consecutive meetings before deciding to petition for senatorship. The next year will be an exciting one for SGA and we want to make sure that every member has an opportunity to grow and learn from their experience. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by the SGA office in SUB 112 during our office hours or email me at Sue Gelsinger.

Discount Card Program

The students of the Student Government Association have teamed up with local businesses to extend various discounts to the students, staff, and faculty of Reading Area Community College. Please bring your student ID to the SGA office to receive your discount card and when you present this card and your RACC ID, you will receive discounts at several businesses.
