Meet the Ambassadors

Tana Acosta

Hi! My name is Tana Acosta, and I've completed my freshman year here at RACC. I am a Liberal Arts Transfer major, and I'm hoping to transfer to either Temple University or Westchester University to pursue a degree in Music, either in the Composition or Performance fields. Outside of school, I am a singer and songwriter, and this year I won the RACC Idols competition and came in 2nd Place in the Berks Got Talent competition. I'm happy that I'm able to share my love for music with my school, and hope to participate in more competitions during my time here at RACC.

I am a fairly new Ambassador, and I began to participate in this program as of January 2014. Being an Ambassador has helped me out quite a bit. I'm still new to this area, and I came here without knowing anyone. Luckily, I've met new people and forged new friendships because of this program, and now I feel more at home here at RACC. I'm excited to continue this program in the future, and I'm even more excited to be able to help new students feel at home here at RACC like I do.
