Manage your time!
In order to succeed in an online course, you must keep up-to-date with all assignments and tests. It is so easy to fall behind in an online class; once you fall behind, it will be extremely stressful to try to catch up. If you do fall behind, contact your instructor at once. Here are some links to help you learn to manage your time.
Understand the course requirements
Make sure you comprehend the course syllabus and other materials. Identify the course objectives and due dates for all your assignments. If you have any questions, contact your instructor.
Know the technical requirements
You will only be successful in your course if you can access your course! Make sure your computer is equipped with all the technical requirements you will need for your course. For ANGEL requirements, video tutorials, and guides, please go to the ANGEL Learning Page.
Acquaint yourself with your online classroom
Attend an Orientation class! As an online student at RACC, you can access your online ANGEL classroom three weeks prior to the start of the semester. Use this time to familiarize yourself with your classroom. This will give you time to get accustomed to how your course will work. In addition, you won’t be as stressed when the semester begins, especially if this is your first time taking an online course.
