January 25, 2011, Reading, PA- Reading Area Community College recently launched its redesigned website that allows students and the community to easily engage with the College and make informed choices about their education.
One of the main features of the site is new navigation designed to be task-oriented and providing visitors multiple options starting with, "I want to." This section includes options for earning an associate degree, taking an online course, training employees and more. There are also newly expanded sections for enrollment and financial aid that will help guide students through those processes. The features section profiles RACC students, staff, faculty and news to showcase the variety of people involved at the College and the programs it offers. A prominent calendar of events highlights numerous activities available, including performances at the Miller Center for the Arts. Additionally, the College's Facebook and Twitter accounts are incorporated into the new design and offer an easy way for visitors to keep up with the latest news and events and allows opportunity for feedback, discussion and questions.
