New Zealand String Quartet with Richard Nunns
The New Zealand Quartet has achieved international acclaim having performed in major festivals and concerts halls including Tanglewood, London's Wigmore Hall and the Festival of the Sound. Sought after for their imagination and varied programming, the quartet is known for their exciting realizations of newer works by contemporary composers. Highlighting the program is a work by New Zealand composer, Gillian Whitehead which features guest artist Richard Nunns performing on traditional Maori instruments.
