Dubbed the "iron men of gospel," the Dixie Hummingbirds possess a musical heritage that spans 80 years with roots in Greenville, South Carolina. Recipients of the 2006 Pennsylvania Governor's Award and hailed as a national treasure in 2000 by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Dixie Hummingbirds now make their home in Philadelphia and bring their award-winning vocals to the Miller Center along with a 4-piece jazz combo.
