P2P-Worm.Win32.Tibick AKA W32.Blatic.A AKA Win32.SpyBot This family of worm spreads through file-sharing Peer 2 Peer networks. The worm itself is a Windows file. The worm also has back door that allow your computer to receive commands from a remote attacker. The worm checks the victim machine for a P2P client and changes the client's configuration so that resources shared by default include the file created by the worm. (This is a good example of why you shouldn't use Peer-to-Peer file sharing software) |

W32.HLLW.Gaobot.gen like many threats this is a variant of a large family of worms (many different copies written on the same theme), they propagate themselves using multiple vulnerabilities. and open back door ports that the Beagle and Mydoom families of worms typically use. if this worm shows up in a scan of your system you'll need to update your system with all the latest patches and download a removal tool to get rid of it. |

Recent versions of the software allow attackers to control a compromised computer through chat servers and peer-to-peer networks, and can attack other computers and steal information from Infected systems.
