Prehospital Emergency Medicine
Consider a career in prehospital emergency medicine! It is one of the most exciting and rewarding careers you can find, whether you decide to be a paid or a volunteer professional.
- The First Responder course is about 50 hours long and qualifies you to be an
attendant on an ambulance. - The EMT course is about 120-130 hours long and qualifies you to be the primary care giver on an ambulance.
- In order to register for the course, you must be 16 years old by the time the class takes it final tests.
- You must be able to read English and be willing to work hard.
