Step-by-step Enrollment for Transient Students

You are a transient student if you will be an active student at another college or university while taking specific courses at RACC to be transferred to your other college. Because applying as a transient student involves getting some paperwork from your other school, it's important that you follow these steps to ensure a smooth start to your semester at RACC!

  1. Complete the admissions application. There is no fee to apply to the college.
    1. Online Application
    2. Printable Application
  2. Submit a Permission to Transfer Form to admissions@racc.edu or fax 610-607-6257. This completed form may exempt you from RACC's placement test and will ensure that the courses at RACC will transfer back to your college or university.
  3. Register by using the Permission to Transfer Form. Make sure that the course section number indicating the day and time of your course is included. Your schedule will be mailed to you upon receipt of the form.
Note: If unable to provide the Permission to Transfer Form or evidence that a college level English Composition and Math course were completed, you must schedule an appointment to take the placement test. Contact Enrollment Services at 610-607-6224.
  4. Pay tuition and fees by the tuition due dates.
  5. Obtain your student photo ID and parking tag from the campus security office in the lobby of Penn Hall (Campus Map).
  6. Purchase books at the Campus Bookstore.
